Roman Adomitis’ 16-Point Weekend Earns $500 USPHL Premier Performance Player of the Week Award

Long Beach Bombers forward Roman Adomitis (3 GP, 10-6-16) has been named the USPHL Premier Performance Player of the Week for Sept. 25–27, earning $500 through the USPHL’s Performance Pays initiative.

Selected by the league’s media voting panel, Adomitis recorded 10 goals and six assists during Long Beach’s three-game road sweep of the Rogue Valley Royals. He registered consecutive four-goal games to close the series and contributed to 16 of the Bombers’ 29 goals.

“Roman’s performance over the past weekend was one of the most dominant performances I have seen out of a player in my years of coaching,” said Bombers head coach Curtis Fisher. “Even-strength goals and assists, as well as power-play goals and assists, across the board on a consistent basis. Not only was he elite and dominant, but playing at an exceptionally consistent level for all three games is never easy to do. We are very proud of Roman for receiving this and getting the recognition he deserves on such an impressive weekend.”

Adomitis opened the weekend with two goals and an assist in Friday’s 8–0 victory. He scored Long Beach’s opening goal, assisted on a second-period goal by Lucas Audisio and added another goal in the third to finish with three points.

Saturday brought his biggest performance of the weekend: four goals and four assists in an 11–3 victory. Adomitis assisted on all three of Long Beach’s first-period power-play goals before scoring three times in the second period. He also assisted on Audisio’s second-period power-play goal, then added his fourth goal in the third to complete an eight-point night.

He followed that effort with another four-goal performance in Sunday’s 10–1 victory, adding an assist for five points. Adomitis scored once in the first period, twice in the second and once in the third, with two of his goals coming on the power play. He also assisted on Ethan Barela’s third-period power-play goal as Long Beach completed the sweep.

Across the three games, Adomitis averaged more than five points per appearance. His weekend included two hat tricks, two power-play goals and five power-play assists, combining finishing ability with playmaking to help drive the Bombers’ offense.

The Performance Player of the Week award recognizes one USPHL Premier player each week, regardless of position or division, through a vote by the league’s media panel. It is separate from the League Office’s Stars of the Week selections, which recognize a forward, defenseman and goaltender from each division and do not include a cash award.

Performance Pays continues in 2026–27, with the USPHL Premier program providing $500 weekly awards over 20 weeks. The initiative also rewards championship success, season award recipients and standout postseason performers.
