Red Bank Generals forward Nathan Riendeau has been named the USPHL Premier Performance Player of the Week for Oct. 12-18, 2026, earning a $500 performance payout through the league’s Performance Pays initiative.

Riendeau recorded five goals and four assists for nine points in three games, producing multiple points in every appearance. The St. Hubert, Quebec, native contributed at even strength and on special teams, finishing the week with a power-play goal, three power-play assists and a shorthanded goal.

He began the award week Oct. 12 against CJR, scoring twice and adding an assist for three points. Riendeau then recorded a goal and an assist on the road against Rockets Hockey Club on Oct. 16, with his goal coming on the power play.

He closed the week Oct. 17 at the New Jersey Renegades with two goals and two assists. His four-point performance included a shorthanded tally, completing a week in which he averaged three points per game.

Riendeau’s production brought his season totals to nine goals and eight assists for 17 points through eight games.

“Nathan has gotten off to an outstanding start this season, demonstrating his ability to score, create opportunities for his teammates, and contribute in all situations,” Head Coach Joe Campisano said. “His impact at even strength and on special teams makes him a valuable difference maker for our team.”

The Performance Player of the Week award recognizes one USPHL Premier player each week, regardless of position or division, through a vote by the league’s media panel. It is separate from the League Office’s Stars of the Week selections, which recognize a forward, defenseman and goaltender from each division and do not include a cash award.

Performance Pays continues in 2026–27, with the USPHL Premier program providing $500 weekly awards over 20 weeks. The initiative also rewards championship success, season award recipients and standout postseason performers.
