Ventura Vikings Raise Over $7,000 To Support Lady Flyers 12U AA Team After Tragic Colorado Crash
The Los Angeles Hockey community came together on Friday, February 20, as the Ventura Vikings hosted a fundraiser to support the Lady Flyers 12U AA team following the tragic Colorado interstate crash that claimed one life and injured several players and family members.
With strong support from fans, families, USPHL players, and special guests, the event raised more than $7,100, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Lady Flyers program and the affected families.
Special attendees included Trevor Moore, who also joined the live broadcast; Dominique Petrie of the Minnesota Frost; and Rampage, bringing added excitement and visibility to the cause.
The fundraiser featured raffle and auction items donated by the Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Rams, and Los Angeles Kings, including signed jerseys from Sidney Crosby, Kris Letang, Trevor Moore, and Phoenix Copley, as well as signed items from Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.
The USPHL thanks the Ventura Vikings, and all supporters who contributed to this meaningful effort.
