The National Collegiate Development Conference congratulates former Rockets Hockey Club defenseman Anthony Allain-Samake, who has been selected in the sixth round, 168th overall, by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft in Los Angeles, on Saturday, June 28.
Allain-Samake played with the Rockets in the 2023-24 NCDC season, registering seven assists in 47 games. He committed early in that season to the University of Connecticut for the 2025-26 season.
From the Rockets, Allain-Samake joined the Sioux City Musketeers, who drafted him in 2024 (10th round, 147th overall) and this season, he registered 14 assists and earned a selection to the USHL All-Rookie Second Team.
Others with USPHL organizational ties at the 2025 NHL Entry Draft included:
Bill Zonnon, Pittsburgh Penguins (1st round, 22nd overall)
Zonnon was a member of the Northwood School team at the time of their USPHL 18U (now THF 18U) membership, though he did not play in any USPHL games.
Jack Murtagh, Philadelphia Flyers (2nd round, 40th overall)
Murtagh played youth hockey with the former CP Dynamo, now NY Dynamo
Caeden Herrington, Los Angeles Kings (4th round, 120th overall)
Herrington played youth hockey with the former CP Dynamo, now NY Dynamo.
Graydon Robertson-Palmer, Detroit Red Wings (7th round, 204th overall)
Robertson-Palmer played for the Northern Cyclones 16UAAA Prep team during the 2022-23 season.
Richard Gallant, San Jose Sharks (7th round, 210th overall)
Gallant, the son of former USPHL Commissioner Richard Gallant, played youth hockey for the Islanders Hockey Club.
