Boston Jr. Rangers 5, Worcester Railers JHC 4 (OT)
The Boston Jr. Rangers picked up a dramatic overtime win over the Worcester Railers JHC. Adam Bauer scored twice, including one in the first period and another in the second, while Shintaro Nakadate and Nicholas Konduh also found the back of the net in regulation. Konduh delivered the game-winner just 2:50 into overtime to seal the 5-4 victory. Worcester received goals from Benoit Jarosz, Ivan Milovidov, Aidan Garced, and Josh Erickson but came up just short despite a balanced offensive effort.
Northern Cyclones 6, Universel Academy 4
The Northern Cyclones pulled away in the third period to defeat Universel Academy. Riley Casey and Logan Petlansky scored early before the Cyclones erupted for four goals in the third from Filip Svoboda, Lukas Eich, Noah Tano, and Alek Brudek. Universel Academy rallied in the second period with four goals of their own, including two from Noah Trempe and others from Bauer Genest and Philippe Guay, but the Cyclones’ late surge secured the 6-4 win.
Mercer Chiefs 4, Jersey Hitmen 2
The Mercer Chiefs broke open a tight game with three third-period goals to defeat the Jersey Hitmen. Casey Johnson scored twice, including the late insurance marker, while Justin Ouellet and Tyler Rothstein also added goals for Mercer. Jordan Laroda scored both goals for the Hitmen in the first and second periods, but Mercer’s strong finish powered them to the 4-2 victory.
Islanders Hockey Club 4, Thunder Hockey Club 0
Islanders Hockey Club controlled the game early and never looked back in a 4-0 shutout win over Thunder Hockey Club. Hayden Manuel Medrano, Avan Pyle, and Ian Gagnon all scored in the first period to give IHC a commanding lead. Liam Normann added another in the second to round out the scoring as the Islanders held Thunder scoreless.
Lewiston MAINEiacs 4, St. Stephen County Moose 2
The Lewiston MAINEiacs used a balanced attack to defeat the St. Stephen County Moose. Ethan Brochu opened the scoring in the first period before Jack Freiser and Jan-Felix Faupel struck in the second. Caiden Kelley added an insurance goal in the third. Nicolas Guerriero scored twice for the Moose in the second period but Lewiston maintained control to secure the 4-2 win.
Woodstock Slammers 4, New England Wolves 1
The Woodstock Slammers put together a strong offensive performance to top the New England Wolves. Ryley Callan opened the scoring in the first period before Lukas Holmgren and Grant Lucas added second-period goals to build a comfortable lead. Samuel Bohos scored in the third to finish the effort. Alex Roy scored the lone goal for the Wolves in the second period.
South Shore Kings 3, Boston Junior Bruins 1
The South Shore Kings earned a solid road win over the Boston Junior Bruins. Ryan Diffley opened the scoring in the first period before William Cavanagh extended the lead in the second. Corwith Simmers added a third-period goal to secure the victory. Colin Ward scored the Bruins’ only goal midway through the second period.
Utica Jr Comets 4, Springfield Pics 1
The Utica Jr Comets used a strong third period to defeat the Springfield Pics. Dominique Allard and Jordan Fanti scored in the first two periods to build an early lead before Xavier Goodwin and Sam Prokupets added third-period goals. Calhan Fielder scored the lone goal for Springfield in the second period.
Connecticut Junior Rangers 6, Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights 4
The Connecticut Junior Rangers outlasted the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights in a high-scoring matchup. Brycen Wood opened the scoring before the Rangers exploded for three goals in the second period from Will O’Donovan, Danial Shakshakbayev, and Jordan Bowman. Max Markhede added two third-period goals to help seal the win. Wilkes-Barre Scranton received goals from Carson Curry, Caleb Rashleigh (two), and Rocco Luciano.
West Chester Wolves 3, Rockets Hockey Club 2
The West Chester Wolves edged the Rockets Hockey Club in a tightly contested game. West Chester scored once in each period to secure the 3-2 victory while holding off a Rockets comeback attempt. The Wolves capitalized on steady offense and strong defensive play to earn the win.
Ogden Mustangs 6, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 4
The Ogden Mustangs pulled away in the third period to defeat the Idaho Falls Spud Kings. Logan Lambrecht scored twice and Billie Jacobson-Couch added two goals in the third period to lead the Mustangs’ offense. Caleb Bendell also scored for Ogden. Idaho Falls received two goals from Sam Grimaldi along with goals from Hunter Whisenand and Santino Canevari, but Ogden’s late push secured the 6-4 victory.
Utah Outliers 6, Casper Warbirds 2
The Utah Outliers used a dominant third period to defeat the Casper Warbirds. Zachary Palik scored twice while Grant Barksdale, Luke Goldberg, Leon Buff, and Valters Budenieks also added goals. Casper got goals from Devin Schaeffer and Colin Norton, but Utah’s offensive depth carried them to the 6-2 win.
Grand Junction River Hawks 4, Rock Springs Miners 0
The Grand Junction River Hawks earned a shutout victory over the Rock Springs Miners. Gabriel Iervella opened the scoring in the first period before Isaiah Yates and Rasmus Ruusunen struck in the second. Noah Lasker added another to complete the 4-0 win as the River Hawks controlled the game from start to finish.
