Botlo

Springfield Pics forward Adam Botlo has been named the NCDC Performance Player of the Week for Oct. 26-Nov. 1, 2026, earning a $1,000 performance payout through the league’s Performance Pays initiative.

Botlo recorded three goals and eight assists for 11 points in four games, helping Springfield sweep its week. He registered a point in every appearance, opening with consecutive four-point performances before scoring in each of the final two games.

Botlo began the stretch Oct. 28 with a goal and three assists in a 7–4 road victory. He followed with four assists in Springfield’s 8–4 win on Oct. 30, giving him eight points through the first two games.

On Oct. 31, Botlo contributed a power-play goal and an assist in an 8–1 victory. He closed the week with another goal in Springfield’s 3–2 win on Nov. 1, finishing with an average of 2.75 points per game.

“Adam is a gifted offensive player who has an ability to make other players better,” Head Coach Robert Bonneau said. “He is so important to our team and the success we are having.”

The Pics outscored their opponents 26-11 across the four victories, with Botlo contributing to 11 of those goals. His combination of scoring and playmaking helped Springfield maintain its offense throughout the successful week.

The Bratislava, Slovakia, native has recorded eight goals and 19 assists for 27 points in 15 games during his second NCDC season. Botlo posted 41 points in the USPHL Premier in 2024-25 before recording 39 points with the Pics in his first NCDC campaign last season.

The Performance Player of the Week award recognizes one NCDC player each week, regardless of position or conference, through a vote by the league’s media panel. It is separate from the League Office’s Stars of the Week selections, which recognize a forward, defenseman and goaltender from each conference and do not include a cash award.

Performance Pays continues in 2026–27, with the NCDC program providing $1,000 weekly awards over 25 weeks. The initiative also rewards championship success, season award recipients and standout postseason performers.
