NCDC To Offer Hundreds Of Tuition-Free Roster Spots For 2026-27
The National Collegiate Development Conference will continue expanding access to high-level junior hockey through its scholarship-based development model during the 2026-27 season.
Fourteen NCDC organizations will operate as full-scholarship programs, providing 26 tuition-free roster spots per team and a combined 364 opportunities for players to compete without hockey tuition.
Every other NCDC organization will offer a minimum of six scholarship roster spots, with teams permitted to provide additional scholarships beyond that requirement.
Full-Scholarship Organizations
Atlantic Conference
All seven Atlantic Conference organizations will operate as full-scholarship programs:
- Connecticut Jr. Rangers
- Jersey Hitmen
- Mercer Chiefs
- P.A.L. Jr. Islanders
- Rockets Hockey Club
- WBS Knights
- West Chester Wolves
Colonial Conference
- Utica Jr. Comets
Metropolitan Conference
- Islanders Hockey Club
- Northern Cyclones
- South Shore Kings
Western Conference – Mountain Division
- Casper Warbirds
- Park City Outliers
- Rock Springs Miners
The 14 full-scholarship organizations account for 364 tuition-free roster spots across four NCDC conferences. Additional scholarship opportunities will be available throughout the rest of the league, with each organization required to provide at least six tuition-free roster positions.
The scholarship-based structure is designed to increase access to the NCDC’s development platform while allowing players to compete against high-level junior hockey talent and pursue advancement opportunities to NCAA hockey and other collegiate programs.
Through full and partial scholarship organizations, the NCDC continues to strengthen its commitment to player development and provide more opportunities for players across North America to advance within the game.
