New York Dynamo’s Noah Thomsen Named NCDC Performance Player of the Week
New York Dynamo forward Noah Thomsen has been named the NCDC Performance Player of the Week for Oct. 12-18, 2026, earning a $1,000 performance payout through the league’s Performance Pays initiative.
Thomsen recorded two goals and eight assists in two games, averaging five points per game while helping Dynamo sweep its weekend. The forward from Vedbaek, Denmark, followed a four-point performance with a six-point effort to earn the league-wide recognition.
Thomsen opened the weekend Oct. 16 against the Red Bank Generals, scoring the game-winning goal and adding three assists. He followed that performance Oct. 17 against the Connecticut RoughRiders with a goal and five assists.
His productive weekend brought his season totals to four goals and 13 assists for 17 points through nine games, including two game-winning goals.
“The award is well deserved,” said Head Coach and General Manager, Ron Kuhl. “Noah has been a consistent performer for us for all of last season and into this season. He had a great week last week, and we’re super proud of him. Noah is a great playmaker and continues to put points up on the board for us.”
Through 9 games this season, Thomsen has tallied 17 points with 4 goals and 13 assists.
The Performance Player of the Week award recognizes one NCDC player each week, regardless of position or conference, through a vote by the league’s media panel. It is separate from the League Office’s Stars of the Week selections, which recognize a forward, defenseman and goaltender from each conference and do not include a cash award.
Performance Pays continues in 2026–27, with the NCDC program providing $1,000 weekly awards over 25 weeks. The initiative also rewards championship success, season award recipients and standout postseason performers.
