Unfinished Business: Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings’ Noa Diamond

The National Collegiate Development Conference’s Unfinished Business series highlights returning veterans who are back to lead, continue their development and pursue goals still within reach. Whether it’s a Dineen Cup championship, a college commitment or another opportunity to prove themselves, these players return to the NCDC with unfinished business.

One of those players is Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings forward Noa Diamond, who returns for his third season with the organization as the Riverkings make the move from the USPHL Premier to the NCDC for the 2026-27 season. Before suffering a season-ending injury last year, Diamond was putting together a remarkable campaign, recording 23 goals and 29 assists for 52 points in just 20 USPHL Premier games.

Now entering the organization’s inaugural NCDC season, Diamond returns as one of the Riverkings’ captains and will once again be counted on in every situation. Head Coach and General Manager Paul Pechmann expects the veteran forward to provide leadership both on and off the ice while helping guide Wisconsin Rapids into its next chapter.

“Noa, a third-year returner and captain, leads on and off the ice, and I expect his energy to be contagious and lead us this year,” said Pechmann.

Diamond’s combination of offensive production, experience and leadership makes him a key piece as the Riverkings take the next step as an organization. Now healthy and back for another season, he’ll look to build on the incredible pace he established before his injury while helping lead Wisconsin Rapids into its first NCDC campaign.
