USPHL Premier 2024-25 Atlantic All-Division Second Team

Second Team

Forward: Kevin Pico, Red Bank Generals

The first-year Generals shook up the Atlantic by finishing in a tie for third and winning 28 games along the way. They put together a heck of a first-year squad, including Pico. The ‘06 from Perkasie, Pa., just kept getting better during the season, ultimately finishing with 41 goals in 44 games, good for fifth in the league’s goal-scoring race. He added 33 assists for a 74-point season. Additionally, his 13 power play goals tied for second in the Premier. Pico was also one of only five players league-wide to score two shootout game-winners this year.

Forward: Ilya Kornoushenko, Red Bank Generals

Kournoushenko (‘05/Tomsk, Russia) led the first-year Generals in his first North American season. He helped set the tone for the strong first-year team by scoring eight points in his first five games, and eventually went on to produce 26 goals and 52 assists for 78 points. On Feb. 5, he made his NCDC debut with the Mercer Chiefs.

Forward: Brett LoGelfo, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders

LoGelfo’s 178 points in 130 games was the second most for a three-year Premier player since 2022, behind only the Premier’s all-time leading scorer and Pacific All-Division selection Roman Wolynec. LoGelfo (‘04/Center Morisches, N.Y.) added a career-best 74 points off of a 22-52-74 line. He was also a massive contributor to the Jr. Isles’ playoff success, scoring 19 points in 11 games. He has 28 points in 21 career playoff games, ranking fifth all-time for the Premier. He made Nationals in two of his three seasons.

Defense: Brayden Webster, West Chester Wolves

Webster (‘04/Dartmouth, Mass.) scored 11 goals and 26 assists for 37 points in his 41 games this year, skating in his second Premier season. After originally starting with Atlanta, Webster joined up with the first-year Wolves and helping them tie fellow newcomers the Red Bank Generals for third in the division. The Wolves enjoyed a +48 goal differential as well. He posted one assist in two games with the New England/Atlantic All-Star Team.

Defense: Patrick Haines, Red Bank Generals

Haines (‘05/Belford, N.J.) was another key ingredient to the Gens’ success, scoring six goals and adding 29 assists for 35 points. Haines was also a member of the New England/Atlantic All-Star team. He is a homegrown product for Red Bank, joining the junior team from their 18U squad of 2023-24.

Goaltender: Riley Gorman, Elmira Impact

Gorman (‘04/Odessa, Texas) tied for third in league wins after hitting the 20-mark, going 20-8-2-0 in this, his third junior season after two prior years in the NA3HL. He posted a save percentage of .927 and his goals against average was 2.52 on the year.

Selection Process: Coaches in the division first nominate players, and then vote on these nominations. If there are ties in positions, there is an additional run-off vote. Coaches are presented with the finalists and given more than 24 hours to make changes if the majority votes to do so. If there are no challenges to the finalists, they are named as the All-Division Team.
