Andrew Peeke

Andrew Peeke joined the South Kent Selects Academy team in the USPHL 16U Division (now Tier 1 Hockey Federation) in the USPHL’s inaugural 2013-14 season. He also joined the Selects Academy team in the USPHL 18U Division the next season, playing a combined total of 63 USPHL regular season and playoff games. He helped the 16U Selects win the first league championship at that level, and was the USPHL 18U Division Defenseman of the Year in 2014-15.

He moved on to play for the USHL’s Green Bay Gamblers and then spent three years with the University of Notre Dame. He was a Big Ten All-Rookie selection in 2016-17, and captained the Fighting Irish in 2018-19. Originally selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft (34th overall), Peeke split the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons between the Blue Jackets and their AHL affiliate the Cleveland Monsters.

He became an NHL regular in the 2021-22 season with the Blue Jackets and was traded two seasons later to the Boston Bruins, with whom he remains. In 315 NHL regular season and playoff games, he has scored 61 points from the blue line.
